New Council Members In an uncontested election Iain Brown and John Orpin have been elected to the Parish Council and will take office at the TPC AGM on Wednesday, 16th May 2007 replacing Mike Mew & Barry Pountain

The Parish Council meets at 7:30pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
All meetings are usually held at Takeley Station House unless advertised differently.
Members of the public and press are cordially invited to attend and may be allowed to speak, at the discretion of the Chairman
Minutes from recent meetings are available here.
Amongst other things, the Parish Council is responsible for maintenance of public open space in the village, play areas, public seating and bus shelters. It also has a statutory right to be consulted on all planning applications submitted for sites within the parish.
